Conceptualized by Chef Joe Busalacchi and Executive Chef Nino Zizzo, Barbusa aims to enhance the current dining scape of Little Italy by introducing a lighter, traditional Sicilian cuisine with a contemporary twist. Honoring the farm-to-table movement, Barbusa sources all seafood and produce from local purveyors, slices all meats and specialty cheeses in front of guests, and boasts and in-house pasta program. Utilizing centuries-old recipes, Barbusa pasta is preparation is visible from and eye-catching display facing all vantage points in the main dining room. Helmed by Joey and PJ, sons of the Busalacchi patriarch Joe, Barbusa marks the beginning of a new era in the Busalacchi brand.
