Farm to table meets american comfort food.  Just up the hill from Interstate 8, Terra American Bistro brings a bit of southern soul to the East College area with redefined Modern American Comfort Food. Chef Jeff Rossman’s rotating menu features local fish procured from Catalina Offshore products, bread from Bread & Cie, and as much locally sourced farm fresh produce as possible. Some of the featured menu items are Karl Strauss Red Trolley braised pot roast, grilled steaks and fish, pork chop with chimichurri, a Brandt Beef Burger with caramelized onions and gorgonzola, seasonal pumpkin raviolis, fried brussels sprouts and the famous banana bread pudding with Jim Beam butterscotch! Terra began in Hillcrest 21 years ago and has since moved to the La Mesa area. Our ambition is to be that great neighborhood gem.
